After 30 years apart from my beloved French family, I had the pleasure of spending this past Christmas in France, with them. I began my trip in Cannes, http://cannesfrance.ca/, traveled to Toulon, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toulon, vacationed with my sister through Southeastern France Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region and had the devine pleasure of wine tasting at the world reknown Châteauneuf-du-Pape AOC- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ch%C3%A2teauneuf-du-Pape_AOC. I enjoyed the night life in Marseille with T and later learned the beauty of cognac, lavender and fresh mountain air as we spent a most relaxing evening at his mountain home, in the hills beyond Marseille, http://www.ecomusee-sainte-baume.asso.fr/association/multim/dvd.html. The mountain images seen in this link are exactly what one sees when looking out the windows of his home... absolutely breath taking!
And of course...I visited Bordeaux.
